RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased Certificate

This course is designed to give you an understanding of the essential navigation and seamanship skills required to safely undertake coastal and offshore passages, both under sail and power.

The course covers traditional and electronic chartwork, the efficient use of tidal stream and tidal height information, pilotage and passage planning, modern sources of weather forecasts and their interpretation.
