The Christmas decorations went up this week at the Marina and we’ve spotted some busy elves decorating their boats for the festive season!
On Friday last, we had our final post-course training session for our newly qualified powerboaters – adults and juniors! Despite the hail and snow they persevered and welcomed their warm coffee and hot chocolate afterwards!
We’ve had a great season of training in 2023, with many new recruits in powerboating, sailing, and cruising. My thanks to our wonderful team of instructors for all their hard work throughout the year.
Congratulations to our female berth holders Brid and Catherine on achieving their RYA and IS Day Skipper Qualifications and ICC! A lot of hard work and hours in getting through their shore-based course, and the practical. From Brid: “I had a wonderful time, Ronan & Conall are absolutely brilliant instructors, learnt so much it’s great“. Well done ladies! We’re very proud of you!
Our RYA Coastal Skipper Course is fully booked, and classes have commenced, with attendees looking forward to sitting their practical course in 2024.
