Our Junior Powerboat Training Courses are for those aged 12 to 15 years and are an ideal way to ensure young people can access structured powerboat training.

Course Details
This 1-day Powerboat course for beginners introduces participants to the enjoyable world of powerboating with a strong emphasis on powerboat safety. Participants will get to learn useful crew roles, the essentials you need to know to stay safe on board and get hands on driving experience on the course!
Primarily using our smaller RIBs, we can safely deliver this course to Junior participants while operating within Irish legislation and age requirements regarding the operation of Powerboats.
Previous Knowledge / Experience: No previous knowledge of powerboating is required.
Duration: 1 Day
Points to note;
– These courses are aimed at junior participant groups and delivered at an appropriate level.
– 1:1 tuition is not carried out on Junior courses in line with best practice in regard to child safety and protection guidelines.
– All of our Instructors are qualified by the relevant National Governing Body, Irish Sailing, and as such are all Garda Vetted through the organisation.
Dates: Courses are run on demand, and we can structure courses to suit clubs needs and times.
