RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased Certificate

This course is designed to give you an understanding of the essential navigation and seamanship skills required to safely undertake coastal and offshore passages, both under sail and power.

The course covers traditional and electronic chartwork, the efficient use of tidal stream and tidal height information, pilotage and passage planning, modern sources of weather forecasts and their interpretation.

Our Course is now open for bookings.  Details as follows:

– Instructor:   Jonathan Sedgwick.

– Venue:  training school at Malahide Marina.

– 7 weeks tuition, and course materials.

–  Free car parking on site for all attendees.

We advise early booking, as we only cater for small groups (max 7) to ensure individual attention and tuition for each and every participant.
